The preacher observed that wealthy individuals do not turn on their phones at church because they do not want to be disturbed. However, impoverished people activate it because they want to be aware; it is an indication of poverty.

Rich individuals do not turn on their phones in church because they do not want to be disturbed. However, impoverished people turn it on because they want to remain awake; it is a symbol of poverty. A rich guy will never turn on his phone in church; instead, he will remark, "I want to hear something that can help better my life."
The impoverished, on the other hand, will respond, "make I see weda anyone go send me money." It's a poor mindset. You're at a church where the impoverished come to get affluent.
