Folarin Adekanye, also addressed as Prince Folarin was born on the 4th of October, in the 80's, in Inisha, Osun State. He hails from Oriade local government area of the same Osun State, Nigeria.
Folarin Adekanye is the second born of 5 children born into the family of Prince. Adeboyejo Adekanye and Mrs. Rachel Olajumoke Adekanye. He grew up in a Christian home in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
PRINCE FOLARIN is talented as his musical talents manifested while growing up in the ever busy streets of Ibadan in Oyo State at the age of twelve.
He was a member of Christ Apostolic Church Oke Itee Annu choir, ibadan but had an encounter with the Lord in Holyghost Christian Centre (Home of Grace) Abuja in the year 2009 and since then he has been a faithful worshiper of Jesus Christ.
Resilient Prince Folarin enrolled in a music class in Abuja where he learnt the basics and rudiments of music. He also became an active member of the church choir where he groomed his musical career.
He is currently an active member of DVI (Dunamis Voice international) Glory Dome.
He is happily married to his lovely wife Mrs. Helen Adekanye.
